Keryn has always had a love for animals, having grown up on a rural property in the Orange area, surrounded by all kinds of animals. This lead to a keen interest in horses which she still maintains to this day. Up until April 2013, Keryn lived on a 3,500 acres in the Bundarra area, with husband Scott and daughter Chelsea, where Scott managed a cattle property.
Having worked in retail for a number of years, Keryn gave away the nine to five grind to pursue a career that was close to her heart with animals. Keryn gained her grooming experience on the job working with experienced groomer and vet nurse Lara Garlick (owner/operator 20 years of Lara's Shear'N'Shed in Orange, NSW).
Initially started as a 'clipping only' service Zoom'N'Groom expanded in late 2011 to become a comprehensive service offering not only clipping, but hydrobathing, blowdrying, eye, ear and nail care, as well as flea/worm products and treatments. And with over 7 years dog handling & clipping experience behind her, you can rest assured your pet will be in safe hands!
In April 2013, Zoom'N'Groom relocated to Cooma in the Snowy Mountains where it now services Cooma, Berridale, Jindabyne, and surrounding areas. Keryn and Scott, along with Chlesea and now little Emily, farm a property between Cooma and Berridale, running sheep cattle and operating a small performance horse stud. Scott has also expanded into contract fencing. Dogs & horses are a big part of day to day life on the farm - they are your work partners and your mates, and Scott & Keryn wouldn't have it any other way!
